Strategy tester on mt5 is very slow
Mt5 is slow when test any EA in strategy tester, only one core is used, and it will run on 3%, how to make it faster

Especially (genetic) optimizations are very slow (it uses all cores).

VM with Linux Mint and Wine, 4 CPU's, 4 GB RAM

As soon as my optimization run is done I will test it with an older build.
I tested it with build 2361. The reason for bad performance in my case is not the newest build!
It takes a lot of time to synchronize the data:

I was doing backtests for over a week and one day one of the result took 9 hours to complete. Keep in mind that before that it was done by avg 2 hours:30 min
I am using VPS with 30GB RAM and 8 core CPU. And also I am running the MT5 with Wine.
Can it be that the RAM or CPU got clogged up by data or something ?
It would be helpfull if anyone has a solution. Thanks
