Can I change account password when I run EA in MQL5 VPS
MQL5 VPS seems not linked with password.
Tell us if you have different experience.

I have done that once on my account while running ea, if you change the password while running ea on vps from other system or from broker client dashboard the metatrader running the ea in vps will logout automatically and ea will stop you need to re-login in vps.
always best way is to stop ea in vps then change password.
