I know what's the problem because i suffered the same issue 2 months ago. Uninstall all Metatrader 4 platform and metatrader 5 platform. MT4 use the new istaller.
 
Why not reply metaquote supporters?
 
I upgraded windows and lost everything. Real problem with windows and metatrader. Started over with a demo account. I do not know if you have a live account or not but I started with a demo account. I started over with a new demo account. Having many problems as I did not back up my info. Cannot rely upon directions from windows as they informed me I would not lose any apps. As the previous person said- start over and log into your old account for your old info. Hopefully you do not lose any monies with metatrader. Delete all apps from metatrader and start over. Still a good platform for your trading needs, though. I can only caution you to back up your info frequently and do not trust the experts. Hope this helps.

This is something with your PC ... ebacsue all the people can install ... and you can not ...

You may write to the service desk - Get in touch with developers using Service Desk!

 
you have to uninstall all mt4 in your computer. restart your computer.
