Indicator Malware

Hi All, I want to get some opinion on downloading free indicators/EAs. To be on the cautious side, how would I know if the indicator/ea has any malware or spyware in the program? I'm planning to download into MT4 and I'm not familiar with the MT4 platform. Can my account be hijacked? Can my trades be monitored or manipulated? Please share any thoughts or experiences you may have had. Thanks a lot.

1. If you have the code, look for DLL calls.
2. Otherwise disable DLL calls in the options.
3. EAs can trade and modify orders. They can do all three. That is their purpose. For good or not.

Thanks. They do not provide the code. Just the executable to be used on mt4.

If "they" are MQL5 Market so the products/indicators are checked there, and dll is not allowed. 

If you are trying to download the indicators from some external website so you should know the people who are selling (or the coders who coded it) - just my opinion sorry.
