Discussion of article "The power of ZigZag (part II). Examples of receiving, processing and displaying data" - page 2

I like zigzags. But I was not satisfied with the standard solution. With a little twisting, I found a new simple method of determining the knees of a zigzag. It's controlled by just one parameter. It works quickly over a wide range of prices with no lag. No need to think about picking two parameters.

Since I don't need 100 knees, I stopped at 7. This is enough for my tasks. Instead of lines, I labelled the knee breaks with a letter index. This makes it easier for the machine to process the data. It's easy to do linking of other charting tools. Define a pattern from a combination of bends. By the way, this is useful information, but I have never seen anyone realise how to use it.

Here are two examples with different parameters 77 and 33. The parameter can be absolutely any.

77.

Instead of a numeric-letter index in the ZZ tops, it is more reasonable to place the distance values (in points) between them.

In fact, this is the yield of the corresponding local trend minus the spread and local profit, which is not received for various reasons.

This is incorrect for machine processing, but it is not necessary for visual processing.

It's wrong for machine processing, but it's not necessary for visual processing.

Well yes, it is much more pleasant to exhaust the chart with anything and everything after the train has left

Interesting article, but it does not seem to consider the points of particular importance for opening and closing positions and maximising the profit. And this is the basis of low-risk and almost risk-free currency "trading".

So, taking into account the risks caused by price dynamics is what is of special importance for opening and closing positions. This is what this article is devoted to. As for profit maximisation, it is really a separate problem, which is solved within the framework of the impulse equilibrium theory.

Are the issues of balance and imbalance (volumes and moments of reversals) of purchases and sales also somehow reflected in this theory (impulse equilibrium)?

Out of all only two compiled and then it doesn't show .

Yes, the issues of reversals and the use of volumes are reflected there (and a number of serious problems that cannot be solved within the framework of traditional analytical methods are also solved).

Anatoly, thank you very much for your EasyAndFastGUI library. In the article you write:

As an addition to this article, a new version of EasyAndFast GUI library is published

Added CWndCreate class, which includes basic template methods for quick creation of most types of elements.

You can download the new version of the library in the code base.

However, the WndCreate.mqh file is missing in the archive at the link. The first thing the compiler cusses at when compiling ZZ_Scaner. Could you please tell me where I can download the latest version of the library for working with CWndCreate class and updated version of CTable (I am interested in the possibility to set the background colour for individual cells of the table).

Not published yet. Automatic publishing is not available for this project due to the large number of files in it. The limit has been exceeded.

So at the moment it can be done manually only by site administrators. An archive with the new version of the library is posted in the comments for moderators. Apparently we need to wait a little longer.
