when you test an EA even if it works well on some products, changing the timeframe can you get this error out?

Yes, if the author coded it that way. OnInit is the best place to do some validation of the operating terms, and if the EA decides that it doesn't fit to the current timeframe then I'd consider it reasonable to stop operating upfront. There should an error message as to why it stopped, check the expert log.
