MQ4/5 start 'their history' at 01.01.1970 00:00:00. This is the date of: datetime t = 0; So everything before that I guess will be ignored. Haven't you get any error messages in the logs (Expert & Journal)?

Thnks for the answer ... i didnt get any message or error in the journal ! i missed the limitation about datetime ... now i remember i v seen that somewhere ...
For MQL you have a magic button on your keyboard: F1.
Just put the cursor on e.g. "datetime" and press that magic button...

Hi,
does anybody knows if we have limitation in the History download on MT4? i have downloaded a history for SP500 from 1950 but the history center on MT4 has taken only candles from 1970 ignoring all earlier prices !
