Is it possible to use a MQL5 VPS for other purposes eg copying other non MQL5 signals?
 

I do not know ... it may be some limitation concerning dll using and more.

Rules of Using the Virtual Hosting Service MetaTrader (Forex VPS)

No DLLs are allowed on a Virtual terminal. There is no physical capacity to use DLLs there.

If a program launched on a Virtual terminal tries to call a function from any DLL, this EX4/EX5 program is immediately stopped due to a critical error. Any DLL calls are forbidden.

you can run your own EA provided you are aware of the vps restrictions on number of DLL etc that could be exported. You can also use it to do backtesting

Unfortunately its not for other sites signals as a pure vps, its limited by mt4 functionality itself as you can export mt4 or signals or ea or indicators etc etc.

If you need a vps to put pictures of your favorite dog or girlfriend in a bikini suggest you source for private vps 🤪🥳
