You loose that £250. If you don't know how to install a platform, you don't know how to trade demo, you don't know how to trade. You will blow your account, trading live.

First of all - download and install MT4 from your broker's website.
And please find some information for Metatrader 5 (but it is same for Metatrader 4 for example).
