I must be dumb dumb dumb

Can NOT find where to set a sound/alert for when a trade is opened or closed on MQ4 - using an AE and there is no tool on it though it's my first time with one... is that even standard for those?

Any help would be excellent :)

1. There isn't one, it must be coded (EA or indicator.)
2. It's EA (Expert Advisor.)
3. There is no standard anything.
   
4. Help you with what? You haven't stated a problem. Show us your attempt (using CODE button) and state the nature of your problem.

That totally is beyond my scope of knowledge - soooooo, I'll do without :)

**Just saw your #4 - I have never used this platform before - have traded since 2009 on ForexTRADER Pro.

So, you have actually helped by just ensuring that now I know it is not standard and I'm not insane.

ForexTrader PRO does have sounds... I assumed this would. I am NOT a coder FYI
