How to import live data of Gold(XAUUSD)and Silver(XAGUSD) from MT4 to Excel? Samples are given only for currency.

Adding XAUUSD and XAGUSD giving the result as N\A.

If you want your symbol updating in your Excel sheet, you have to add it in the Symbols view in your MetaTrader 4.

There you search for your symbol and show it.

After that, you can for example use the Bid price with the formula:  ='MT4'|BID|XAUUSD

But be aware: if you then hide that symbol in your MT4 again, it will not refresh anymore in your excel, but still show the last price of when it was lastly shown in MT4. So don't be confused if a price is still shown.
