Maybe an idea would be to program an indicator that plots the current local time to your pc on the chart. I haven't searched but i'm guessing this must be a pretty common problem.
I use forexfactory as a source for a calander as you can set your timezone on it.
There is a good Forex Economic Calendar at babypips. It maybe helpful for you.

most of the calendars now contain too much information - for instance, news from brazil, singapore, india, thailand...trader needs us news, uk, eu, canada etc...8-10 countries, not 50-60

Need some help with time zones and the economic calendar you guys have.
Right now on my PC it says: 6:05
Taking for example, the JPY Consumer Confidence states "Next 0h 54m 10s".
Economic calendar is set at GMT. Economic calendar states JPY Consumer Confidence @ 6:00.
Now my MT4 is always 1 hour ahead of my PC Time.
What time do I use as my time?!
6AM? 7AM or 8AM? This is driving me nuts all these different times lol
Can anyone help me out please?
