MT4backtestbuddy- issue

Hi everyone

I am trying to get this software to work on both Vista and XP with no luck. Everything loads fine but it seems no connection between MT4buddy.exe and the strategy tester.

I get the following error in the journal:

2008.09.13 21:30:05 2008.09.04 00:05 MT4Buddy EURUSD,M5: expert stopped

2008.09.13 21:30:05 2008.09.04 00:05 MT4Buddy EURUSD,M5: cannot load library 'buddydll.dll' (error 14001)

2008.09.13 21:30:05 MT4Buddy started for testing

2008.09.13 21:30:03 MT4Buddy: loaded successfully

I have read and reread the install docs and help. I have loaded dotnet 2.0 and VC2008 and enabled "allow DLL import" in MT4 - I must be overlooking something.

Any suggestion for resolution would be greatly appreciated.

Can you see the buddydll.dll inside your MT4's folder ? If it's there, maybe you can try to copy it to C:\windows\system32 folder .

 

Thanks for your reply - The buddy.dll is in the MT4 directory and per your suggestion I copied it to windows/system32. I get the same error unable to load buddy.dll

Please let me know if there is anything else I can try..

MT4BackTestBuddy V1.2 update

If anyone still remember this small utility,

here is v1.2 with 2 small feature added.

for those never heard about it before. It's a small tool let you place order manually while doing strategy test in MT4.

p.s. last time i accidentally zipped the debug version of dll into the download file thus made some user unable to use it.

V 1.2 And Crashing MT4
