It is help file.
People with Windows 2000 for example will open it I think.
For Vista:
right mouse click on the file and select 'unblock'
And you will open it.
Any other ideas for opening. Right clicking on Vista does not have an unblock option here.

The link in the first post is not working. It is telling me the file has been moved when I click on it.

Thank you! I did finally figure out. But now I have another problem. I thought I could convert it to a .pdf file by simply going to properties and choosing to change it to an Adobe file. well it didnt work, now everytime I try to open a CHM file the computer attempts to open it in adobe format. how can I change it back, I dont see the chm format in the choices to change a file. is there a setting I am overlooking. I really appreciate your help!

Just download this file (i think you downloaded already).
If using Windows Vista so right mouse click on the file you downloaded, select 'Property':
- unblock (just press it):
- and it is written in 'Property' something as 'Change' ... and change like that:
I was able to succesfully download it and open it. But when I attempted to convert it to pdf, it didnt open it. now Im trying to change it back to chm and each time i try to download it, it continues to open it in pdf actually all of my chm files are now opening in pdf, and when I go back to the properties of the file to change it back i dont have the chm type of file to choose from. I dont have an unblock button either. this is very strange
also forgot to mention , im on a windows 2000 right now. but the first time i downloaded the file it worked fine, I should have never tinkered with it.
