I'm thinking about use an EA to trade my Live account!

Hi all, well...

After months (years!!) of manual trading, i'm coming to the conclusion that it can be a good idea to open a mini-account with a mt4 broker (i'm thinking about fastbrokersfx.com) and use it with an EA to trade 24h/24, instead of what i'm doing now (i trade just 1-2 hours a day with oanda, because i have no time to trade, but i cannot take advantage of the market movements trading that small time).

Now, let's think about a good strategy!

I'm a good coder, i can code everything, so no problem for that, and i got some ideas about some strategy to use, anyway it can be good to hear some good ideas from you, i can code and if it's good it can be done a profitable EA (and shared with who helped me of course), i'm thinking about a strategy that do more then one transaction everyday, with a non-fixed target point (maybe a intelligent trailed stoploss), and obviously some good anti-blow/MM strategy :P

Just curious, where did you learn to code and how long have you been doing it? Best of luck to you in your coding! Wish I could understand it enough to write my own EA.

That would be awesome! I could then lose all of my money on autopilot!! Just kiddin.

Where is the easiest place to learn how to write an EA? I'm still interested in learning how to do my own.

But I see some other issue: as i know no one coder wants to code bad untested idea. If it is trading system so it is the better to test some idea at least on demo account with statements and rules discussions. because sometimes ideaq creators are requesting: "please create EA/system for me because those indicators look good on my chart ...".

Almost every good thread need a coder so it is absolitely no any problem to find something which you like here.

And almost every section need a coder as well https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/trading_systems (sections are more developed and sectopn originators can go to commercial inside their sections so it may be additional possibility/interest to help them sorry).

I don't think that an EA can give same profits as a good trader can give, and with good trader i don't mean a trader that just buy or sell when two moving average cross, a good trader must look the chart and "understand" what it is happening, sure he will never have a 100% sure trade, but he can "understand" where price is going, why it is going there, and what will happen when it has arrived there, u know a good trader can found a sense in this market that some "strange" people call RANDOM (i read in some forums about people saying fx was random!), an EA cannot do it, not with the precision that a human brain can give, also if... Maybe it can be done yes, with some good NeuralNetwork (everybody now know that NN work!), but i don't know.. maybe i like trading too much to let a EA trade for me, i mean.. where is the fun??
