hi

is there a trendline indicator which only appears on the chart when the line got rejected a third time?

im using mainly trendlines which price has at least respected 3 times and then trade the breakout.

anyone know?

Short answer is no...

This is hard to quantify because you would need to have the trendline in the correct coordinates in the first place.

So no.... you need to watch this manually as trendlines (especially trendlines drawn as SR lines) are subjective.

in a down slope trendline:

if the price is above the down slope TL

and

if the price has retraced x pips from peak

then enter a sell trade

Help for trendlines

Hi all,

I am trying to code an indicator for drawing converging trendlines (i.e. triangles), like the following:

However, I am encountering two problems:

1. I don't know how to make the command of drawing trendlines.

2. I don't know how to tell the computer NOT to draw upward resistance and downwards support lines (because they are not converging).

Do anyone know how to solve these problems? Or does anyone know similar indicators that I can have a look at?
