the best trading time is NY session then...

The best time to trade would be when the volatility is highest, so as the NY and London trading sessions overlap between 7 and 11 am EST, trading opportunities would be much more frequent (bigger moves).

Attached are charts of GBP/JPY, EUR/JPY, and USD/JPY. They show average Pip movement by hour for the last month (August), 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years.
