If you are using stochastic then you can use it in two modes (will use levels 20 and 80 for examples) :
1. trending mode : when crossing 20 down sell, when crossing level 80 up buy
2. counter trending mode : when crossing 20 up buy, when crossing level 80 down sell
Both of the modes have their pros and cons but if you are using trending mode, you should use higher time frames (1 hour and above) and if you are using counter trend mode, you could use the lower time frames too

That indicator is looking through a lot of bars when used with default settings. If you try to use it on multiple charts it will always slow down the terminal - the way iy work there is no way to speed it up without writing a completely new indicator, but then better to use some other that is not so "CPU hungry"
