This program can get the Metatrader datafeed in DDE Mode...

DDE plugin has been tested and it is known to work properly on Windows XP (32 bit DDE) and Windows 9x (16 bit DDE).The following DDE servers are verified by us to work properly:

  • IQLINK (DTN)
  • WINROS (eSignal)
  • MT (Metaquote)DDE plugin does NOT work with the following DDE servers:

  • VTSPOT (Visual Trader) - due to improper coding in VisualTrader that causes Microsoft DDEML library DdeConnect function to hang on the very first connection attempt

Communication between Amibroker and Metatrade4

Hi Everyone,

I have read that it is possible to get some communication between Amibroker and Metatrader4.

Some communication was based on CSV files. Obviously an API based communication would be best, but ANY communication is better than none.

I build my own AB strategies and I want to use them to send trade signals to MT4.

Does anyone have got auto-trade working between AB and MT4 and would be willing to share his knowledge?

Any help or literature would be greatly appreciated.
