Clarifications on PriceChannelExpert_v4

Igorad,

Could you explain what is the concept behind your EA? It looks very promising!

What are the conditions for opening a trade? When I look at your code, it looks like there's two conditions(Because of "MainChannelPeriod" and "ChannelPeriod" parameters). Can you explain it in simple words?

Also, in the parameters for your expert, there are a couple of parameters that I can't figure out their function or how they operate.

1. Trade Volume & Trade Method
a. Trailing Stop

Trailing stop is self-explanatory. But when is it applied to the trade? How is it calculated? When is it raised?

b. Swing Trade

What is the meaning or the use of this parameter?

c. Pending Order

What is the meaning or the use of this parameter?

d. PendOrderGap

What is the meaning or the use of this parameter?

e. BreakEven

I assume that when the price goes in your favor up to that level, your Stop Loss is raised to your entry price (plus the spread). Right?

f. BreakEvenGap

What is the meaning or the use of this parameter, that must be related the the BreakEven level?
2. Price Channel Parameters
g. MainTimeFrame

I assume this must be the time frame of the chart that you are using that must be entered here. Right?

h. MainChannelPeriod

i. Channel Period

What is the difference between these two parameters?

I know that I'm asking a lot of questions at the same time, but I think that your answers will give us a better understandig of your EA, and a better chance for enlighted trading.

I think that this is a very good system, and must be test in demo with a EA.
