Also in the upper left hand corner it says signals are absent, is that supposed to be?

It means that EA is working (it is writing something in Journal) but there are no any buy or sell signals up to now. It is normal.

Did someone get this EA to proper backtesting?

All my tries got stuck in the middle of the testing period.

Would be nice to see some backtest statements.

It is difficult to backtest because this EA is writing something in journal and it takes a time (very long time).
