In my opinion the best way to learn coding is from the code that already exists and does some job. Since there tare literally thousands and thousands of source code files at this site, you can learn from them
That way you can see how different people solve problems at different ways - coding language is like any other language you know : we all talk, but we all talk differently (I don't mean language difference, but two people will use different words and different sentence to say the exactly same thing)
