As of zipped files : sorry, never used Mac OS X, so I can not help you with it
As of coding : glad that it clarified what is done and how it can be done in mql (and other "C like" coding languages)
As of EA version for tradestation: I don't, but, as you can read it in the header of the EA, it is based on Alexander Elder's Triple Screen system and as far as I know there are strategies based on that system for tradestation already and you can use one of those for start

I'm using Mac OS X operation system and no one unarchiver which available for Mac OS X can extract files. NO ONE, including 1zip for Mac.
