This idea was already implemented on few external forums many years ago, and EAs (trading dailyfx calendar, or forex-factory calendar) with many versions were created and uploaded there by source codes. But for MT4 only sorry. It may be good to see similar tool for Metatrader 5 for example.Idea: A high impact news release is coming up in X minutes time.
We enter a two-way trade (a hedge) and wait.
The instrument we are trading spikes up then pulls back slightly, this pull back is a cue to close the SELL position and open a second BUY position while using a trailing stop with trailing step on both BUY trades.
