What is the simplest and cheapest FX exchange / broker for automated trading?

So all I want is a FX broker / exchange that lets me connect through FIX / TCP / API for uncomplicated automated trading. I also need real-time market data.
What I don't need is:
1) Ridiculous minimum deposits. I understand that for algo trading (more than 4 buys and sells per day) the SEC requires 25k. But I would like to start with a lower deposit for testing and/or for fewer trades than that per day.
2) Ridiculous minimum volumes requirements.
3) Ridiculous complicated API. A simple and standard FIX connection would be awesome.
Can anyone help and I have been trying to find that for a long time without success?
