Could you please answer these questions :

1) What's the link between MetaTrader and MQL4 ? Is MQL4 MetaTrader's API for programming automated real time orders ? If so, can we program inside MetaTrader environment ?

2) what's the difference between a script, an expert advisor and an indicator ?

3) Is there a list of brokers allowing automated trading through MQL4 / MetaTrader ?

4) Where can I find a documentation on MQL4 ?
