Well, it's the standard installation folder; however, I never install into the standard installation folder, but somewhere else where I have writing rights under a restricted account.

But this has nothing to do with the MT4 data folder; the data folder is at: goto File->Open Data Folder

I wrote that in order to see the data folder, go to the File menu and chose "Open Data Folder", there you can see the path in the explorer.

Usually the data folder is not the same as installation folder (with build 600+). Except if you start your terminal with the /protable switch.
