MT4 Terminal Daylight Saving

OK, so as we know the MT4 terminal time is set to EET.

It has been seen in the past that certain countries change their daylight saving times, dates, or even shift to not using it, or using it all the time.

Which country should I pay attention to, such that should that country change it's times, the terminal will change it's time?

Or (I hope) is it that the terminal is set to UTC+2 all the time, and is thus country-agnostic?

thanks

we do not know that. Each broker has their own time settings. Ask your broker what their settings are.

Ah, I didn't know the broker ships the time to the terminal. Thanks

Yep, it's quite annoying to keep track of, but it's important if your broker reduces leverage over the weekend.

Also, market opens and closes for weekend are usually 6pm New York time, regardless of the broker's time settings.

alladir: market opens and closes for weekend are usually 6pm New York time, regardless of the broker's time settings.
Always 6pm NY local (except xmas/new years day...) Closes 4pm local.
