Stops do work. But on the brighter side sometimes the jump might benefit you if it occurs in the direction of take profit.

Nothing is working on the weekends as the market is closed.

On the first tick of Sunday 2200z, price has already gapped past your stop. This is not modeled in the tester as your image shows. On a real account you'd be closed at the open.

All markets can have gaps when the market opens. Since Forex is 24/5 it usually only gaps over the weekend. Live with it (just as likely to gap in your favor as not) or have your code close the trade around Friday 19:55
