Inconsistency in dollar index
However when I use the dollar index formula to calculate the dollar index by creating a cusom indicator and showing the index in a separate window, the value is significantly different.
Just another "My Indicator is Wrong, can you tell me why....Post". Show your code. Provide the calculations you're comparing it to.

When looking at the dollar index chart on my brokers platform and online at forexpros, the dollar index value is basically the same. However when I use the dollar index formula to calculate the dollar index by creating a cusom indicator and showing the index in a separate window, the value is significantly different. For example, the Dx_CONT and the Dollar Index Chart from my broker and forexpros both showed a value of 79.55, but my custom indicator showed a value of 79.43? This is quite a big difference? I therefore don't have confidence in the dollar index? Does anyone know why this is so....
