First make sure the disk space of the MT4 partition is sufficient. Then try to update the .HST files with history center (F2).

Hi I'm using MT4 on Windows XP SP3 running under Parallels Desktop 6 on a MacBook Pro. Although I can launch MT4 and connect to my trader server and account, I'm facing these problems:
1) I'm unable to change the period. By default it's on H4, and I'm unable to change to any of the other periods.
2) The charts won't show, it just states updating and took forever without showing the charts.
Please help me to troubleshoot. Thanks.
