What does the Volume in MT4 mean? - page 2

Hi guys I'm new ,

About the volume thing in Metatrader4 I just learned that  scale :1.0 means 10$  per pip for EUR/USD pairs. And this rate is only applicable when USD is a base currency.

So does this means that Volume:1.0 is always 10units of a base currency irrespective of whether dollar is evolved or not?

Like Volume 1:0  of EUR/GBP means 10pounds per pip?

 
It doesn't mean anything for trading forex, but thats only my own experience, you can make more money from MACD which is the top quality trend following indicator and thats also my own opinion
 
Volume means ticks counts in chart period
 
is that mean 
volume = count of tick in period= count of change in price
