sorry to sound like a dope but i am new to this - i have seen magic numbers but do not know how to apply to report.
Use the comment field. Right click in the account history tab and enable comments. Use your EA to make a comment on the Order when it places the order.

If i am front testing an EA in a demo account how can i distinguish trades based on the strategy that produced them in the history report?
