Excellent EA. Win/Loss Pct = 79.6%/20.4% with a Profit Factor = 3.66


I noticed that you have a low success rate for trades initiated before 10:00AM --- you have 5 losses (1/3 of your losses) and only 3 wins. You may want to filter out those trading hours.


I also noticed that for the most part, you have variable win & loss sizes ---- do you have criteria for exiting the trade early? You had five 100-pip wins and one at 140, but the rest were variable in size.

How enlightened. Yet, I believe that sharing your success is counter productive. What practicable purpose does it share on this type of site?

Why? is equivalent to the15 minutes of fame phenomenon.

Since you show success why not really share your success by sharing your obviously vast knowledge regards designing a profitable EA.

There are many on this site seeking MetaTrader enviroment H.E.L.P.

viz: they have all too real issues dealing with the design, programming and testing.

I would hazard a guess that this is why majority come here: to learn and share

I also didn't understand why you started this thread. It is true that so many of the posts on this forum are from people trying to be successful or from people successful only on demo accounts that I have thought maybe it is not possible to run automatic trading profitably with a real account and real broker. So someone saying that they have achieved it can be reassuring.


I would not want to copy, buy or steal your code, but I would like to learn some of the things you think are important when developing a successful EA. Perhaps you would share some thoughts on that.
