Point, or one tip, for one symble, it is about smallest money unit for price and margin ratio used.

for example: for EURUSD,it is 0.0001. for USDJPY, it is 0.01......................

When the trade goes through and the Ask is 1.2850 the script or EA will place a Take Profit close stop at 1.2900. So, that when the Bid price reaches 1.2900 the trade will automatically close for a profit of 50 pips. The Take Profit stop is usually displayed on the currency pair chart that you are trading. So, that you can see where your target price is. one point = one pip, the smallest unit.
