How to protect my EA??

Hello

How can someone protect an EA? For example: If I have an EA I want to sell but don't want people to be able to see what it is made from and / or change anything in it.

Simplest method is distribute only the EX4 file, not the MQ4.

I use the function

IsDemo()

and distribute the compiled source to provide full functionality and protect the source at the same time.

None of these methods will protect an EA. you can use a decompiler to disasemble ex4 files. :)

Just a suggestion,

All EA can be decompiled even DLL is crypted in the code.Frankly,DLL are easier to be decompiled.Ive see all commercial EA in given free in a forum(I am not the decompiler).

There is 2 way you can protect your code:

1.Never publish it,use personally

2.Dont even give ex4 file just sell the signal
