We have been developing in MQL4 for the past 2 years. Prior to that, we helped 2 capital investment companies with their "Black-Box" implementation(s), which included communication platform between their emulator (in MatLab) and the API that their Dealer handed out.

Although there is no API for MT4 (available), we can adapt a DLL (Dynamic Library Link) that would do almost the same.
