I just published a short blog post explaining how I calculate risk across the strategies in my personal portfolios.

This is my own way of doing it — I’m not saying it’s the best or only approach for everyone. But for me, it makes a lot of sense and it’s been working really well over time.

I tried to explain it as clearly and simply as possible, but if you’re very new to trading, some parts might still feel a bit advanced. If anything feels confusing, you can always copy the text and paste it into ChatGPT and ask for a simpler explanation 🙂

Gold Atlas is built to add real diversification to a trading portfolio and is not dependent on broker time zone, so it works with most brokers.

The strategy is backtested all the way back to 2006 and shows good, stable growth across different market conditions.

How it works:
• Uses 5 different breakout-based entry models
• Each model operates on its own breakout level
• Each entry has its own stop loss size and trailing stop logic
• Each entry model can be enabled or disabled by the user
• Some models are more aggressive, while others are more swing-based
• Think of it as 5 strategies combined into one system
