Поступило предложение сделать версию индикатора "Candle Pattern Finder" для MetaTrader 5. Мне нужно знать, насколько востребован будет этот индикатор для МТ5. Я прошу выразить ваше мнение не словами "нужно / не нужно", а более развернуто.

Скажите, если я покупаю индикатор я исходный код получаю или только исполняемый файл.

Мне просто нужно будет отдать его для конвертации под нужную мне программу (не метатрейдер) .

В MetaTrader Маркете возможно купить только исполняемый файл, защищенный средствами компании MetaQuotes.

Yes, of course. Below, an example of using the indicator in the Expert Advisor (all indicator parameters by default):

I would not advise to use candlestick patterns as a direct signal to enter the market. Against this error, warn almost all books on candlestick analysis.

The advent candlestick pattern on the chart should not be considered trading signals !!!

The model only shows the mood of the market and indicates possible changes in it. To find the point of entry should not be used candlesticks, and other analysis techniques.

The most reliable candlestick signals appear on the timeframe Daily. With the reduction of the timeframe reliable signal falls. So I use the indicator on timeframe H4 and Daily. For smaller timeframes H1 candlestick patterns can not be trusted.

Hello, I have been trying to test this indicator in strategy tester and I have been letting it playout for an hour and no signals at all not even 1 signal on 5 min charts. I tried changing the settings and still no luck. What might I need to do to get this working? thanks

I just downloaded the trial from this page and let it in the tester now - signals are present. Otherwise, MQ not published my product.

Maybe you downloaded the demo version from here? The demo version is free, but is fully functional only on the NZDUSD pair. On the other pairs you will not see signals in real-time, only on history.

In addition, I do not recommend to use the indicator on smaller timeframes H1.

To re-download the indicator you need to install MT4, register in it your account from MT5 community (Ctrl+O, tab Community, click on the link "If you have an account, please login", enter your username and password).
After that, select the Market tab in the Terminal window and type "Candle Pattern Finder" in the search bar.
Download the indicator again.
I set 30 activations on my indicators, so you can download the indicator 30 times (on the same computer or other).
