Hi Anna,

Just bought the EA and I would ask some help with the launch of it. Do you have a prefered set files ( maybe from the signal ) , or can I start with the default settings?

Thank you for your purchase! Default settings except:

the risk 2.5%, TP multiplier set at 0.8 and SL multiplier set to 1.2

I'm getting this error when I attach the EA to a chart - file C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\F762D69EEEA9B4430D7F17C82167C855\MQL5\Experts\Market\Galaxy 5.mq5 not found

The file Galaxy 5.mq5 is in the folder

Do you perhaps know what the issue could be?

Through the platform. Scroll down and on the left hand side you will have MY PURCHASES tab. It may take 24h to appear there though

Thanks, I found it. I had to reattach on the chart and it is working. Previously I had an open position ( managed by the previous version ), will the new version manage that one as well?

It's been nearly 5 months since I started running Galaxy on a demo account and today I decided to hide the signal as it was only there to showcase the history. I still run Galaxy on it but it is hidden. As the signal was free, it wouldn't be fair to me or to anyone who paid for Galaxy to keep it running.

Hi Anna! I noticed that an adviser installed on accounts with different brokers, and even on different accounts of same broker, can simultaneously open opposite positions on one and the other account. Is this normal for EA or there is some kind of mistake that needs to be fixed?

HI Mikhail, I have been running Galaxy for nearly 5 months on 3 different brokers and I have not encountered that situation. In fact, you are the first person reporting that so I will need to investigate it further.

Yes, situation like this can happen sometimes but if this is something you would like to avoid, then there is an input: allow only one order per pair. If you set it it to TRUE then it won't happen

It turns out that the trades are several days apart and they were opened on one broker as previously they did not occur on another broker or were already closed. Galaxy will not open contradictory trades, nor does it need a hedge account to work properly.

If you're not sure about something, please message me straight away so I could investigate.
