Tested on AGEA, TF H1, balance 500$, EUR/USD... it don't work, after 8 months got only 11$ !!! XD Any idea ?

Try increasing lot size , or manage lot to true , set it to 2.5

Tested on ICMarkets too, EUR/USD, TF H1, default settings and after ManageLot on true, increased size lot and many more, 500$ account, lost alot of balance.

I reffered to the tester spread setting , I trade on live account true ECN with 1 point spread , 7 $ per lot commission . If it is as you say that means that if the EA would have a reverse function it would be better.

I get slightly better results with SellOffSet and BuyOffSet set to 0 in the tester but in the live market that is a level with high volatility and you may get a higher or lower price than reuested .

On a real account it shows only negative values. The description says nothing about spread. What broker do you work with where the spread is 1 point?! For the strategy tester, it comes out a great toy and for a real account just a disaster.

Added the posibility to reverse the strategy , replacing stop orders with limit orders . On settings with Reverse strategy set to true Stop loss should be set to 50 points or less , TP to 150 or more , Trailstop to 0 and breakeven to false .

Hi, the new version 1.2 is adding a minimum lot size message into the MT4 experts log on every tick:

2019.08.21 00:42:56.048 Tops Scalper EURUSD.r,H1: Minimum Lot size = 0.01


This will cause log files to take up unnecessary space on the VPS and makes looking for other expert log messages very difficult. Can you please remove the message from every tick?

That means that the EA is trying to open trade with a lot size smaller than minimum lot size allowed .Increase lot size. It's like trying to trade with 0.001 lot size and the minimum allowed is 0.01. If Iremove that warning it will not pass validation any more. I think that you are using micro account , and that would be the problem , I will look into it to see if I can solve it .

I think there are better error handling and lot size issue management options available to you. For example:

1. During lot size calculation routine using ManageLot function if the calculated lot size is lower than minimum then use the minimum in the order and place a message in the log.

2. On critical errors that prevents orders you could place a message on the chart and deinit rather than just flooding a log.


Out of curiosity, have you changed the lot calculation formula? Example:

- Using v1.0 with $3772.00 balance and RiskPercent=0.2 setting I get orders with 0.08 lots on backtest

- Using v1.2 with $3772.00 balance and RiskPercent=0.2 setting I get orders with 0.01 on live


I use TDS so I've set leverage on backtest to same as live.

I removed the log print for min /max lot size and lot size is calculated using freemargin*risk/10000 . 3772*0.2/10000=0.07544 rounded 0.08

OK, with version 1.2 and $3772.00 balance and RiskPercent=0.2 setting I am getting orders with 0.01 lot sizes on live. Can you please investigate?
