I also noticed that sometimes the EA doesn't open trades when the Tenkan crosses the Kijun. I have the strategy enabled and also activated the EA. Kumo Cloud breakout is working but not Tenkan-Kijun Cross. Is there certain criteria required for the EA to open the trade? Or is this a flaw?

Auto lot size function position size the trades using a fixed percentage risk per trade. For example, if you choose to risk 1% per trade, the auto lot size function will calculate the appropriate lot size to risk the 1% capital of your account on each trade.

Along with the Tenkan-Kijun cross, the EA also look for the position of Kumo cloud and Chikou position.

I bought this EA expecting the strategies to perform in a way described in the overview but you seem to mean that there are other criterias involved that are not mentioned. How can I fine tune the EA if I do not even know how it works?

It happens because you are not using the stop-loss. It is not possible to find the lot size based on the risk percentage without knowing the stop-loss value.

I agree the description should have contained more in-depth information. 

The EA checks the alignment of each Ichimoku element before firing a trade. 

For example:

In the case of the Tenkan-Kijun Cross strategy, the EA does not execute a trade for every Tenkan-Kijun cross; instead, it also checks the status of the Kumo cloud and Chikou with respect to the position of Tenkan-Kijun cross. You are right here. We should have included this information in the description. 


The KT Ichimoku EA is awaiting a new version, and the description will also be updated.
