Here are some tips how to optimize Smart Scalper PRO effectively:
1. Use M1 chart open price only!
2. Use the average spread your broker is providing for the optimized currency pair.
3. In theory, as long as is the optimization period, as stable should be the forward performance, but you can optimize over the last 3-5 years with good results.
4. Optimizations over short periods like several months could lead to curve fitting and bad forward performance.
5. Optimize the parameters one by one performing about 5 in total optimization
cycles. If until the third optimization cycle you do not achieve some good looking equity curve with good performance parameters, you may want to save your time and move to another currency pair.
6. Your goals should be Profit Factor>1.5, Average Profit Expectation > 3 pips, nice looking equity curve without too long and deep bad periods.
Chose logical values, which are located in a nice flat region in the optimization curve. Values, which are located in an insulated spikes are not recommended. If the spike is located in the middle of a nice looking hill, then you can use this value. You should think logically, when you chose the final value of the parameter. This is the hardest part of the tuning process – you need to use your brain as hard as you can in this process.

A good EA does not trade all the time, because it needs to detect some strong market patterns. Sometimes you may have several days without trading.

Hi, You have to use the robot on M15 TF (time frame).
1. Советник при включенных новостях пишет "No Important", при этом в календаре по GBP новость.
2. На центовом счете не возможно выставить фиксированный лот, советник просто не подгружается на график.

Hi, When the robot write No Important News - this means that there is no news which is classified important according to the news filter settings.
If you want to set fixed lots then first disable MM. Set AutoMM=0 and set your fixed lots in the parameter FixedLots. For example FixedLots=0.01.
Yes in order to use the news filter you have to add my website address http://www.fxautomater.com in the terminal options in WebRequest field.

Hi, It is a good news that you have figured it out.
If your broker min allowed lot size is 0.1 then just set FixedLots=0.1 and AutoMM=0. Then the robot will trade with 0.1 lots. Of course you can set even greater lot size but make sure that you don't trade with high risk.
