I did it yesterday with the purchased original Pipfinitor Trend Pro. But the results are not as shown above. Let me show you one example in my demo account.

This is the chart just with indi pipfinitor and my specification. As you can see, there is no arrow to start a trade.

Now lets add the EA with some specifications. As you can see, the EA add a sell signal. It looks like the EA has his own signals - check the red square. Why has this happen or do i misunderstand something.

The same problem with all other currencies and time frames.

I want to tell you that my adviser has no signals and does not open positions on its own!

It works exclusively on indicator signals.

1. You showed me a picture with an open position, and judging by the picture - the position is open on August 15. You attached the log file for August 16th.

2. The EA uses an indicator with default parameters.

Does your indicator on the chart use default parameters? or did you change these settings?

3. Once again, I want to remind you that this adviser only works with signals from your indicators!

When the EA opens a position, it writes data from the indicator:

It seems that the combination of Indi and EA leads to the problem, there is a problem with the default vs. customized Indicator Pipfinite period value. The Indi standalone does not create any additional signals, even with customed period values

Indicator Period Value

Important:

If the indicator values (period) at 3 are not changed, no additional signals are drawn into the chart.

If the period values are changed (e.g. 30), the standard period values will be added after the EA is in the chart. If the EA is deleted, the standard period values are also no longer visible.

Namely: Download the Ind - The xCustomEA PipFinite Trend PRO MT4 with settings indicator from the archive into the MQL4 \ Indicators folder of your terminal

and in the adviser specify the set file from the archive !!!!

You can change the settings inside the indicator:

 input int Period_1= 30 ;

 input double Factor_1= 1.00000000 ;

 input int Lookback= 5000 ;

Advisor will trade on these settings. !!!!

You do not need to additionally place the indicator on the chart. But if you want - you can do it with the same settings.

Advisor trades on the indicator specified in the settings. !!!

I will try to make interactive videos on setup and installation. It’s hard to explain it all.

So i have to edit the code an put the lines in and save as a new indi. Now i got it. This is done. So just for fun, in both Indis i put a period of 30. But unfortunaltely, the results are not the same.

The adviser do not execute the buy or sell signals. I cant see any Buy signal. What can be the reason?

I cant see a error message or "wrong indi name log" entry. Can you check the set file again please.
