I just purchased the program and loaded it to MT% and it is loaded within the Navigation Expert Advisors section

I can add it to the chart and set the parameters.

How do I draw/set the trendline on the chart?

First of all, thank you very much for your purchase.

To draw the trendline on the chart, you just need to use the trendline toolbar button.

And then add the command for the EA on the properties dialog.

Hi Carlos,

I purchased the Trendline EA  a couple of days ago and trying it on Index Futures. Its working fine on two instruments.

However, Its not working on another two instruments and i have had the following error:-

"Order failed with error #4756"

What could be causing this and how do i resolve it?

- the instruments where it is not working

- the name of broker that you are using

- a screenshot of the problem (with the experts tab visible)

About your question, if the price crosses the trend line in the blank, it will not trigger the order.

About the notification, if you input your command with a message, the EA will show you the customized message.

Something like this: "Alert This is a test".

However you can already achieve the same effect using commands like this ones "CaO BoT V:1.0" or "CaO SoT V:1.0"

I'm not sure. Could you please send me the symbol and the timeframe so that I will try to see if it is a bug or not?

About the backtester, unfortunately I havent found a way to test it in realtime.

What I usually do is draw my lines on a chart and then save the template with the name "Tester".

This way when you run the test, the EA will pick up the lines and issue the commands.

USDJPY, H1,  use Horizontal line, not trend line
