Hi,can't test?
Hi,can't test?
This EA is a tool that assists in your trading with trendlines. It does not work without user intervention.
You must draw the lines and add the desired actions.
Therefore in order to test it you need to have the trendlines already drawn in your chart or you need to pause the test and draw them manually.
Nothing works in tester except the break out commands, please check.

Could you specify the details of the test that you performed please? (like Symbol, Timeframe, Commands used, etc)
I just tried and all worked well.
Example Green Line: BoT and SoB
Thanks for your Answer
It's possible to set two different type of action commands on one Trendline?

Hi meemek91
Very good question. Unfortunately the current version does not support such a feature.
But the good news is that the next version that I'm developing will indeed support two different types of actions. This version should be ready later this week.
Check the attached screen of one of my tests.

Hi.
From your screenshot I noticed something in your command. It should be "Vol:3.0" and not "V3.0". That might be the issue.
Since you are using it, I will add support for "V:" on the next version.
If you find any other problem let me know, and I will get it fixed with the new version.

But I tested it again with the Paramaters, unfortunately its not working. it touche the line 3-4 times
Can this place 2 separate instances on the same chart? For instance a buy and a sell. Each could have TP and SL? Thanks.
Absolutely you can. You can put as many trendlines on a chart as you wish. Each with different actions and different TP/SL.
Hi, this EA looks great, can I:
- buy after close above/below trendline
- disable trading and just generate email/push alerts?
Unfortunately I didn't manage to get it working in a tester.
Can you post 7 day trial version?
Thanks
(please cc me on priv as well)

Hi biwosz,
- You can buy after close above trendline with the command BuyOnBreakout. (Unfortunately I didn't consider the buy after close below trendline, but if that feature is important to you I can add it to the EA.)
- As of version 1.70 you can use alerts for Email, Popup, Push Notifications and Sound. Instead of defining a buy/sell action, you can just define an alert action for a trendline. Ex: AlertOnTouch, AlertOnBreakout, AlertOnPullback
About the trial version, I believe that the system here at www.mql5.com does not allow such a version.
Best regards

Thanks for reply,
So I understand there's buy on breakout (close above the trendline) and sell on breakout (sell after close below the line), is it correct?
Also - as people report problems with testing in strategy tester- why not release free version with limited functionality? Thx.

Hi biwosz,
- Yes, that is correct.
- The free version is a good suggestion. I'll be sure to prepare it as soon as possible.
