Hi Wim, got bored today so started comparing live results of Night Owl. I've actually been running it since late Jan and do like the way it trades.
Anyways was wondering if you can look into the pairs again and look closer at the trading days.
What i've found so far is switch GBPUSD off on Weds + Thurs and it yields much greater returns with less drawdown based on live results, mine and yours on all accounts...
I don't have any tick data so perhaps this is something someone can look into via a backtest, however looks promising on live for all your account history to date.
Some Live examples:
Yours - GKFX Live (since Apr 23 '18)
Yours - Alpari Live (since Aug '17)
Mine - IC Markets (Since Feb 5th '18)

No problems, it's nice actually having some real life trading results to compare the real world Vs back tests.
EURUSD, although short time span as i think you only introduced the new set files in April this year, seems best to switch off Weds. In all examples below the Profit Factor improves. I'm guessing because of the triple swap fees on Weds? I've seen a few scalping EA's these days implement a no trade rule for Weds before rollover, could be food for thought?

I found the reason why the wednesday makes so much difference :-) It is because I made a deposit of 2000$ on a wednesday in october on the GKFX account.
When you don't trade on wednesday in myfxbook, it 'forgets' the deposit, and suddenly the profits from after that day seem huge against the balance without that deposit...
Running very stable on a fixed spread account:
spread on eurusd: 1.8pips
spread on gbpusd: 2.4 pips
spread on audcad: 6pips
no commission

Hope you are well:)! Could you implement a "Triple swap filter" in the next update of Night owl just to filter out trades with negative triple swap. I`ve seen that function on some of the other night scalpers and it seems to be a peaty good feature!

Hi Wim, do i need to change any settings in the GMT offset with my broker ICMarkets or is this done automatically? Just had a quick look in the setting but could see anything in terms of GMT offset or reference to BST. Cheers!
Hi,
you don't need to change anything if your broker uses GMT+2 in the winter and GMT+3 in the summer. Most brokers use these settings (also ICMarkets)

yes, I'm focusing on the GKFX account, as it clearly is the best for Night Owl. I want to use the funds from the 2 other accounts for something else also...
