Hi;

Please consider adding a rectangle outline of the Ask and Bid price on the Panel.

Using a distance of 1, it would be helpful to see what the price does when Ask reaches

a resistance level and when Bid retraces to Support Level.

Sincerely,

Alfred Minors

Thank you for the proposition. The feature can be added in a future version.

Thanks, took be a little bit to adjust Cumulative ticks and Points per cell to get the rectangles to match up

to the Bid and Ask being displayed on the chart. Now, to see what happens when Ask and Bid hit support

and resistance. Will share my findings.

Hi;

Please see screen shot. I am trying to get your rectangles  to match up with  my blue rectangle and the values on the chart's side.

I find it two difficult to keep adjusting Cumulative ticks and Points per cell to line things up. Can the values for Cumulative ticks and

points per cell be automatically set for between the highest value displayed and lowest value displayed on the chart. Would this not

line up the Yellow 117.548 and Green 117.652 to the values in the table and have the bid and ask line up with the chart?

If this does not visually assist the intent of your indicator, I understand. I am not wanting to change what you have created.

 Sincerely,

Alfred Minors

It's not clear what do you want to achieve exactly. Please rephrase. What is cumulative ticks?

If you want the table cells to be aligned with actual price values, I'm afraid this is impossible due to technical limitations, and because it would result in too small (unreadable) text.

Hi,

Since the indicators is only for timeframe M1, in the indicator  visulaziation tab I unchekced "All time frames" and selected only "M1".  But on switching other timeframes other than M1 I see alert "Use time frame M1 only". Could you please fix it ?

Thanks,

Hi, I think this is not a bug in the indicator. This is how MetaTrader works. There is no API which will allow the indicator to know that the checkboxes are switched so that it is supposed to be visualized only on M1. The indicator knows only the current timeframe. Removing the message completely would be incorrect. If you think this is a bug, please, contact MQ service desk.

Thanks. But every indicator I have seen till now has worked this way and I could restrict indicator for the timeframe checked on visulization tab.

 It could be MT4. But not sure why it is not working for only this indicator.

What exactly do you mean saying that other indicators worked this way? My indicator checks current timeframe and shows a warning if it's not M1. Probably other indicators you refer to do not check timeframes at all?

I have the official response from MQ support: it's not possible to read the visualization settings from MQL code (neither in MT4 nor in MT5). This possibility is not planned at the moment.

Please provide more details. How do you run demo, which tester settings and indicator settings are used? What error do you see? What is written to logs?

Hello, can it plot cumulative delta bars?

Hello, can it plot cumulative delta bars?
Please provide an example of what you mean (it's not clear if you mean a vertical histogram, columns of volume numbers, or something else on every bar). If you want the tables with numbers to be shown for every bar on the chart, this is not supported and not planned.

Sorry, I meant candlestick bars like https://www.linnsoft.com/sites/default/files/i/qa/a/images/cumdeltachart.jpg

There is a cumulative curve (in dark green) in the indicator, which is the best approximation of what you want. It's just a single line, not a series of bars. To show cumulative delta bars it should be completely different indicator.

Also please bear in mind, that MT4 does not support bar-wise drawing style in subwindows. If you apply DRAW_HISTOGRAM, it's shown up- or downwards around zero line (as in this indicator). In other words, there are no means to display full-fledged bars with OHLC prices, bodies and shadows. This is a MT4 limitation (at the moment).

Hey Stanislav

I wish I came across this sooner, I remember we had this discussion some time last year. Either way I was wondering if we could make a small adjustment. Give the ability to only show the cumulative delta line ? This would then be similiar to the OBV for example.

Thanks
