This Shop is a great platform for us traders and programmers, it is sad to witness this really? You went ahead and posted a 280% maximum drawdown code for $750. I am sorry but this should be free or not even shared at all.

Interesting equity curve.....if you like to take HUGE risks smashing the account to ZERO :) But wait a moment, i'm done complaining and actually i spent some time playing around with this scalper and found out that it's not that bad at all. If you aim taking small gains every trade it becomes almost harmless and the most important thing is to find the best TIME settings this scalper should trade!!!!! This is the critical and most important setting of them all! With right settings there will be an almost straight smooth uppwards pointing curve without horrible euity drawdowns.

So my conclusion after testing around; Time setting very IMPORTANT and so the GAIN you try to achive every trade. Aim low on gains and find suitable trading hrs and this one i think have a great potential ;)

Thanks author for submitting this robot and i wish you all traders good luck.

With a more conservative trading style of this ea i think it has great potential. Performed a strategy test on my real micro account and got this curve. No critical huge Equity drawdowns and small steady profits. The more you bargain for ofcourse the more you risk with this and then Everything change dramatically. Could be interesting to see theese settings work in real trading inviroment.

Initial balance 10$ , lot 0.3 ,target pips 1.8, Equity Control 300

Non trading hours: Duration 1; 9-14 and Duration 2; 16-23 GMT +2

Test performed between 151026-151203 on M15 chart (not M1 or M5)

Thanks Kenneth for your comments. Yes Time is key factor specially when a news is expected to change the trend. Due to change in Trend some time these drawdown in equity curves are appearing. I was trying to control its mathematics but could not find a way. So only time factor is working on it so far.

Absolutely the time settings are important for this scalper. In variouse tests with different time settings this ea doing quite well, and sure thing important news got a big impact also. Recommendation to turn ea off when approaching important high level news if no positions not yet opened ;) And just wanted to say thanks for this contribution cause i really got to like this EA the more time i put to it :)

How to configure the SAADSCALPER that he trade only 11 to 17?
Kenneth Parling
Think that would be setting the EA up to NOT trade following hrs;  Duration 1: non trading hrs 18 and 10 /duration 2 non trading hrs; 18 and 10. Try it out in tester and see if it's working for you

Hi,

Please note that Live/Demo SAADScalper is considering time at desktop for non trading hrs. In Backtesting it will consider time of backtest data.

Settings for 11 to 17 will be. Duration1: 1 to 10 and Duration2: 17 to 23. (Unfortunately this setting will allow scalper to trade during Hr "0"). In current version there is no any setting to skip for Hr "0".   Idea behind to skip time of high volatility during news time so it was not considered.

I am trying out this scalper, thank you for creating it.  I live in Central time USA, what would the hour settings be for me time zone to avoid news?  Thanks.

Adnan Iqbal

Hi Luis,

To avoid time zone headache for different brokers/servers, I preferred time of desktop/laptop in this EA. Please note that if you are using this EA in Demo/Live Account set hrs as per your computer settings according to the news time.  If you are doing backtesting, it will consider time of broker data on which you are doing backtest.

All this talk about time zones is confusing, why not do it like everyone else, and set everything to GMT and also have inputs as time to start trading.

This setting to , Non trading hours is very confusing.

Why does each Non Trading hours start with 0, there is only one zero in a 24 hr clock.

One of my VPS has a difference of +16hr's and the other has a difference of +7hr's, but im at a loss of what the 0 means, what time is 0.

If you have non trade from 0-14 and then 0-18, that means to me that there are no trades from Midnight to 1800hrs

Non trading hours: Duration 1; 9-14 and Duration 2; 16-23 GMT +2.

Does the above mean that trading is not allowed between 900hrs and 1400hrs, and then not allowed from 1600hrs to 2300hrs computer time.

This would imply that you do not trade Asia time, but you do trade London, but you do not trade New York.

Is my assumptions correct.

TY

Thanks Alf for this feedback and your inputs. When this script was written 0 was not considered. If you keep 0 in setting, it means Time Duration is not set.  It is designed if someone needs to skip trading for two different durations, it should work. After having some feedback from users, I am realizing it is confusing  to end users. I will update the code and upload it asap for time settings.

TY Very much for your quick reply.

And thank you for making this EA, i like it and it seems to be very profitable, and it does seem to be time settings that need to be correct as Kenneth has posted.

Hello,

please explain how the 'Equity Controls' exactly works.

Thanks.

"Trades that are not successful to scalp are handled in a different and unique way to control equity losses." = we use martingale to recover loosing trades, because we rather prefer burning your whole account instead LOL

Hello Adnan, Im looking forward to the new updated EA, how long do you think before you have finished it.

I would suggest that you do all settings to GMT, as this is the normal setting used by most Coders.

I can not code, and any suggestion by myself is only to help.

I like this EA and its potential.

Hi there,

My name is Nico! I would like to thank you for this great EA you made. Ihave some questions, maybe you could have some time to answer it.
Im eorking actually on this eurusd with Saadscalper on the M1 timeframe and i have some really good results. But sadly and i don't understand why, the EA is only selling . It never take a long position, as i don't understand cause in the setup of it, i choose both choise.

Also, do you think it could be possible to had a stoploss? Cause sometime in backtest i get some pretty deeploose.

And to finish, in backtest sometime the EA close the position with a huge gain but in the setup the target pips was from far under it. So i don't understand why it was closing the position after it was reaching the target?

Sorry to bother you with so many questions

Thanks again

Nico

So far the scalper has been doing very well when I added my no trading times. I was wondering if you plan an update or can add a money management feature. Thank you for the good work. I run it along side another EA that I have and they both work great together sort of hedging each other.
