They are just examples of calling the "Easy Trend System" indicator.

The "Easy_Trend_System_iCustomEA_v10" advisor does not trade at all, it describes all the possibilities of the indicator:

  • trend start signals;
  • signals inside the trend at the end of the correction;
  • preliminary signals (on an open bar);
  • trend/flat indication.

The "Easy_Trend_System_GridEA_v10" is the simplest grid-advisor.

It opens the first transaction based on the "Easy Trend System" indicator signal with a specified TakeProfit.
Averaging conditions for opening additional grid orders: the signal from the indicator and the distance from the previous order is greater than the "Grid Step" parameter.

Testing on GBPUSD, M5, from 2019.12.30 to 2024.03.30 . Higher TF M15 (for BB).

Yes, signals inside the trend are more reliable now (in the current market).

Which pairs give the best results with this indicator?

The most important thing is that your trading instrument is trending on your working timeframe. I tested it on GBPUSD, GBPJPY, gold, and crypto. 
But you can look at the history of how the indicator works on any other trending instrument. It might work well on indexes.
Also, you can use the indicator in your Expert Advisor and test it on any instrument.
